Special Event: Girl From the North Country

February 2 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

$85.00

Details:

GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY is the Tony Award®-winning new musical that the Chicago Tribune declares is “a Broadway revelation!” Written and directed by celebrated playwright Conor McPherson and featuring Tony Award-Winning orchestrations by Simon Hale, GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY re-imagines 20 legendary songs of Bob Dylan as they’ve never been heard before, including “Forever Young,” “All Along The Watchtower,” “Hurricane,” “Slow Train Coming,” and “Like A Rolling Stone.” It’s 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota. We meet a group of wayward travelers whose lives intersect in a guesthouse filled with music, life, and hope. Experience this ‘profoundly beautiful’ production (The New York Times) brought to vivid life by an extraordinary company of actors and musicians.

Content advisory: The production includes flashing light, bursts of sound including live gunshots, on-stage smoking and mature language.

This performance will be taking place in the Andrew Jackson Hall Theatre at TPAC.  Our group has been granted group rates for this performance.  Seats are located in the Front Balcony and tickets are $85 each.  This group pricing discount will save you money versus purchasing individually through the box office. This production is scheduled to begin at 8 pm.

Tickets must be picked up from Will Call/Box Office with a photo I.D. no later than 30 minutes before the show starts. This is a special event which means we do not meet as a group. However, our group seats will be located in close proximity to one another. Each family that purchases tickets will indeed have seats next to each other. If there are multiple families going together it is important that you notify Jennifer that you want tickets next to each other.

Please note: Do your own research before determining if this show is suitable for your kids, each family is different.

RSVP and payment for guaranteed seats are due by 5 pm on September 10, 2023, unless they sell out sooner.

Tickets may be able to be secured after the due date only if seats are still available. Contact Jennifer after the due date so she can check directly with the venue. This trip requires a minimum in order to proceed.

Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC)
