Heralded by The New Yorker as “thrilling” and “genuinely moving\,” FROZEN features the songs you know and love from the original Oscar®-winning film\, plus an expanded score with a dozen new numbers by the film’s songwriters\, Oscar winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez and EGOT winner Robert Lopez. Oscar winner Jennifer Lee (book)\, Tony and Olivier Award® winner Michael Grandage (director)\, and Tony winner Rob Ashford (choreographer) round out the creative team that has won a cumulative 16 Tony Awards. An unforgettable theatrical experience filled with sensational special effects\, stunning sets and costumes\, and powerhouse performances\, FROZEN is everything you want in a musical: It’s moving. It’s spectacular. And above all\, it’s pure Broadway joy. \nThis performance will be taking place in the Andrew Jackson Hall Theatre at TPAC.  Our group has been granted group rates for this performance with four different seat location/price points to choose from.  Front Tier tickets are $105 each (ticket A)\, Middle Tier tickets are $84 each (ticket B)\, middle/rear Tier and front Balcony are $74 each (ticket C)\, & Rear Balcony are $49 each (ticket D).  This group pricing discount will save you money versus purchasing individually through the box office. This production is scheduled to begin at 2 pm. \nTickets must be picked up from Will Call/Box Office with a photo I.D. no later than 30 minutes before the show starts. This is a special event which means we do not meet as a group. However\, our group seats will be located in close proximity to one another. Each family that purchases tickets will indeed have seats next to each other. If there are multiple families going together it is important that you notify Jennifer that you want tickets next to each other. \nPlease note: Do your own research before determining if this show is suitable for your kids\, each family is different. \nRSVP and payment for guaranteed seats are due by 5 pm on October 24\, 2023\, unless they sell out sooner. \nTickets may be able to be secured after the due date only if seats are still available. Wanting to stop him from eating books\, she follows him into his rabbit hole. Adapted from the unbridled humor and madness of Lewis Carroll’s novel\, Théâtre Tout à Trac’s lively production of Alice in Wonderland allows students to discover how each book becomes a door to the next adventure. An homage to reading\, the play becomes a window into our imagination. \nCurriculum Connections: Communication\, Logic\, Literature\, Scene Design\, Theatrical Presentation\, Scene Comprehension\, Context\, Responsible Decision Making\, and Relationship Skills \nThis production is recommended for students in grades K-4\, although other ages are welcome. \nA student must be accompanied by an adult in order to attend this production.  Families are asked to arrive by 10:00 am to check in\, the show will start PROMPTLY at 10:30 am. Our entire group must be present before we can be seated. It is important that families try to be punctual for the sake of the group. The show has a running time of 60 minutes.  No food or drink is allowed in the theater for this show\, this includes gum. \nLocation: \nTPAC’s James K. Polk Theater \nTicket Information: \nAll attendees\, regardless of age must have a ticket to attend.  Tickets available until 5 pm on January 14\, 2024\, unless they sell out sooner. SUMMARY:Field Trip: SoundWaves
DESCRIPTION:Details: \nJoin our group at SoundWaves Gaylord Opryland for a fun filled water day. Participants have the option of participating in a 20–30-minute educational program that is both informative and hands on.  Once the educational component is complete families are welcome to explore and enjoy the 4-acre indoor water experience at their leisure.  The educational component will include an educational lesson on sun safety\, water safety\, proper hydration and a water chemistry test.  Participants will surely enjoy their time exploring the indoor water experience including indoor rides; Groovin’ Lagoon Activity Pool\, Crowd Surfer\, and much more.  Only the indoor water area is guaranteed to be open for this event.  Below are some additional details that may be helpful for this field trip; \n\nLockers are available to rent for a nominal fee\nStudents 15 years and younger must have an adult close by in the area (this is not a drop off event\, an adult must remain on site)\nSoundWaves wristband must be worn at all times\nThe wristbands our group will wear allow individuals to come and go from the park from 10 am until 2 pm\nCoolers and outside food and beverages are not allowed (bag inspection will take place at entrance)\nSoundWaves offers a comprehensive menu of food and beverages available for purchase.  Guests will be allowed to bring one unopened plastic water bottle (20oz or smaller) per person.\nOnly Coast Guard approved life jackets are allowed\, no other flotation devices\nGuests who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper\nNo running\, boisterous or rough play\, on the decks\, floats\, platforms or in dressing rooms\, shower rooms\, etc.\nTowels are provided upon entering SoundWaves. You may wish to bring your own beach towel since provided towels will remain in the water attraction area.\nLifeguards are on duty at each attraction at SoundWaves. Lifeguards are trained in CPR and First Aid\nThe state-of-the-art roofing system at SoundWaves does allow UV rays into the facility year-round. Applying sunscreen is encouraged\nA limited number of umbrellas are available in the indoor facilities on a first come\, first served basis\nOne or two-piece bathing suits for females and swim trunks for males are required; cutoffs and thong swimwear are not permitted. Aqua socks are recommended. Cover ups\, shirts and shoes are required in all resort public areas outside of SoundWaves.\n\nParking in this area can be a bit tricky and expensive.  Families are welcome to park at the mall for free and walk over or pay a discounted parking fee of $14 plus tax per vehicle to park at Gaylord Hotel (Magnolia parking lot only).  Magnolia is the closest parking lot to SoundWaves. Those who choose to park on site must reserve a parking sticker when securing tickets.  Stickers will be provided with wristbands at check-in.  Stickers must be placed on the parking pass that the machine provided you when pulling into the parking lot.  Individuals will pay for parking upon exiting the parking lot (parking fees will not be collected on this site). \nFamilies interested in the educational component will check in with me at 9:30am\, those interested in passing on the educational component are asked to arrive by 9:40 am to check in with me.  Our field trip is scheduled to begin at 10 am and families are welcome to remain on site until SoundWaves closes at 2 pm. \nThis trip is for the whole family.  Adult and Student tickets are $36.00 each.  Children 3 years and younger are $1. \nTickets on sale until 5 pm on January 14\, 2024\, unless they sell out sooner. This trip requires a minimum in order to proceed. \nLocation: \nSoundwaves Gaylord Opryland \nRules & Regulations: \nEach individual attending this trip/event must have a ticket purchased directly from Nashville Homeschool Calendar by the ticket purchase deadline.
